Description

The Peterson 2710D is a high-production tracked horizontal grinder designed for demanding wood waste, biomass, and recycling applications. With strong performance on dry feedstock such as pallets, sticks, and wood, it offers the mobility and processing capacity required for professional recycling and biomass operations.

This 2020 machine has approximately 4,000 frame hours, with a major advantage: the CAT engine has been professionally rebuilt by CAT and has only around 200 hours since the rebuild. The work included a new cylinder head, EGR, oil cooler, water pump, and injectors. The engine was returned to CAT for bench testing and was fully cleared and signed off. Complete receipts for the rebuild are available. The wear plates and baskets have also been attended to, and the rotor has been balanced. The machine runs very well and is ready for work.
